Why we like it: JibJab -- the site with those hilarious puppet-like figures -- has been busy lately, making apps that let you put your own face inside the story. The result is hilarious, and works wonders to perk up your day. There are 18 apps (called "books") available as of November 2012.
Need to know: Be warned -- these apps do a great job pulling you in for free, and then do everything possible to get you to buy the next book in the series for $7.99 per title. There's also a monthly subscription model for $1.99 each.
